家乡的赤泥岗
家乡地处偏僻的赤泥岭,田地少得可怜。过去山岗上乱石重叠,荆棘丛生,水沟里的吸血蚂蝗又软又滑,叫人望而生畏,因此“泥地佬”成了家乡人贫穷屈辱的代名词。然而,这里的山山水水是我童年的乐园:山岗上有野石榴、野葡萄、“饭团籽”、“老鼠齿”、山稔子……还有很多说不出名的野果,甜酸苦辣,取之不尽,更有趣的是找鹧鸪蛋、烧蜂窝。吃蜂蛹就得讲究方法了,还得有点勇敢的精神。而山脚下水沟里的田蟹、田螺、鱼虾便是我们的家常便菜。
一年冬天,推土机在赤泥岭上“哒哒”地响了个把月,当我跑到那里一看,伤心极了——山岗上的乱石被推平了,我的“百果园”被摧毁了,鹧鸪也被吓跑了。天啊,父亲竟也在那群人里头。
几年后,原本石头比泥土还要多的赤泥岭竟然变成一汪蔗海,郁郁葱葱。凉风吹来,绿浪翻涌,象向辛勤劳动的人们点头致意。还有一大片的果林,果实累累,果香沁人。昔日那些令人讨厌的乱石被切成石砖,砸为碎石,黑黝黝的,*地流向四面八方,滚滚的财源不断流进千家万户,“赤泥岭”变成了“聚宝盘”。
过去的崎岖小路变成了宽敞的大道,低矮的茅房被崭新的楼宇代替,世代没有的教学大楼拔地而起……家乡是镶嵌在这块土地上一颗璀璨的明珠。我也再不当初那些把赤泥岭弄得翻天覆地的垦荒者,看到他们油然而生敬意。
如今,“泥地佬”听起来不再刺耳,我为做一个“泥地佬”而骄傲。我的梦魂常牵绕着家乡那一片赤泥岭……
